Foster The People - Pumped Up Kicks

I was listening to a little KEXP the other day, as I like to do, and the morning DJ played this song twice, because he liked it so much. He went on to add that he wasn’t too sure he would have been able to do the show without listening to this to pick him up in the morning. And you can see exactly what he meant. It’s a real pick me up. The soft beat/bassline combo plods along just leaving the whistling to cheer you up a little - as good whistling always does, whilst the megaphone style vocals make the whole thing slightly less serious. The KEXP DJ said that he wouldn’t be able to rest until every single person in the world had listened to this song, and I’m certainly inclined to agree. 

Sounds A Little Like: Peter, Bjorn & John with a hint of A Tribe Called Quest. Just a hint mind.
