Memoryhouse - Caregiver

SUCH a slow song. And a real beauty at that. It’s been awhile since I’ve loved a song as much as this, and at first I couldn’t really figure out why. I’m still not fully sure, but I think the reverb has something to do with it - I’m a big fan. It’s so soaked in reverb that it’s saturated, but with a song like this - that’s just how you want it. Slow piano, each time striking the perfect chord, and some really beautiful vocals laid on top, throw in the reverb and you find that the song is still circling around your eardrums hours after you’ve listened to it. That’s a sign of a real tune.
Sounds A Little Like: The more sombre side of Wild Nothing, on piano.
