Dumbo Gets Mad - Plumy Tale

It sounds like its from the future, just like it sounds like its from the past. It’s one of those songs that is definitely weird - and trying to be - but ends up being incredibly good at the same time, something that is all too rare. And they’re an Italian band, which is rarer still, a good one anyway. Plumy Tale’s got you in from the first second when the bass line starts leading the charge, whilst the sax, the jingly piano, and the loop gets your mind and body going all kinds of places. I guess you could call it psychedelic or indie-psych or something like that, but maybe lets just say its diverse, catchy as hell and very listenable, and leave it at that?
