We Are Trees - Sunrise Sunset

I think whats so good about We Are Trees is that it’s so refined. They take real care with each of their sounds: the guitar slightly in the background and slightly hollow, the percussion frantic but calculated and the vocals oohing and aahing in a serious but soothing way - that it all comes together so well. ‘Sunrise Sunset’ is a whirlwind of layers, spinning in a hundred different directions but always held together and plowed on forward through the percussion. It just works.
